LEGAL NOTICE - PUBLIC HEARING
FIRE SERVICE 2010 CONTRACT
TOWN OF BRIGHTON
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Brighton will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. at the Brighton Town Hall, 12 County Road 31 (a.k.a Jones Pond Road) in Paul Smiths, New York, for public input on the Fire Service Contract for 2010 with the Paul Smiths-Gabriels Volunteer Fire Department (PSGVFD) in accordance with Town Law, Section 184. The PSGVFD is proposing an increase of $750.00 and an increase in the amount of liability insurance to be carried by the PSGVFD from $1 Million to $2 Million. Total Contract to be $71,576.00. The contract is available at the Town Hall during Town Clerk office hours for review. At such public hearing, all persons will be given an opportunity to be heard. Written and oral statements will be taken at that time. Time limitations may be imposed for each oral statement if necessary. The Town Hall is accessible by an elevator lift.

Town Board Meetings
Town Board meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Town Hall on County Road 31, a/k/a Jones Pond Road, in Paul Smiths. The Town Hall is Handicap Accessible by lift. All meetings are open to the public. Special meetings are posted on the sign board in front of the Town Hall.
